In a lot of finished basements, storage is whatever space is left over. We do it the other way. At your walk-through, we ask what you need to store. Then we draw it into your floor plan sketch, right next to the bedrooms and family room.
Most of our basements include three kinds of storage:
- A finished storage room for bins, food storage and seasonal stuff. It can also be set up as a future laundry room.
- Closets in every bedroom, plus spots like a coat closet near the stairs.
- Under stairs storage, finished and ready to use instead of left as a dusty hole.

Closets with Real Shelves
Our closets come with several wood shelves and metal rods, not one thin shelf and a single rod. Bedroom closets get double doors instead of sliders or bi-folds, plus an organizer stack. With tall ceilings, we add more shelves.

Your storage room gets framed, drywalled and painted like the rest of the basement. Want it to be your laundry room someday? We can plan for washer and dryer hookups now or later.
Under Stairs Storage
We finish the space under your stairs so it’s clean and usable. Code requires the inside of an enclosed under-stair space to be drywalled for fire safety, and we take care of it.
Mechanical Room
Your furnace and water heater get their own room with a solid-core door that seals tight. We keep the space in front clear, so it’s easy to service.
Simple Paint
Closets, storage areas and the space under the stairs are painted one color, usually your trim color. It looks clean and keeps your cost down.
