Step 3 — Permitting & Scheduling
Millgate pulls the plumbing, electrical, and mechanical permits for your city and schedules the project and every required inspection.
Step 4 — Framing & Rough-Ins
Framing, plumbing rough-in (sink, dishwasher, ice line), and electrical rough-in (dedicated circuits, range/cooktop power) happen first, followed by the city’s rough-in inspection.
Step 5 — Insulation, Drywall & Cabinetry Prep
Insulation and drywall go in, then cabinets are set and countertop templates are taken.
Step 6 — Countertops, Fixtures & Flooring
Granite (or your upgrade) is installed, sink and faucet go in, appliances are connected, and flooring is finished.
Step 7 — Final Walkthrough, Inspection & Warranty
The city signs off on final inspection, we walk the finished kitchen with you, and your 2-year builder’s warranty starts.
